Alexandra Vali began her career as a ceramic artist. Through her work with clay she learned a feel for the perfect shape and how to balance her design and contrast texture. Her contemporary De'Solanum Earrings, which are 1.50" x 0.62" x 0.25", are handmade from Oxidized or Sandblasted Sterling Silver and are available with a White or Black Freshwater Pearl. The surface of the unique earrings from her Pearl Pod Collection are protected with Rhodium to improve tarnish and scratch resistance. According to Alexandra, "solanum is an omen of good fortune and is also an emblem of love and affection. In nature, Solanum blooms out in just a couple days, but your silver earrings will remind you of spring all year round." Note that the color of the Black Freshwater Pearl may vary from shades of purple to blue.
