Inspired by the ethereal floating Bodhisattvas of Byodoin Temple in Uji, Japan, encountered in a spring 2025 visit, the sculptural Byodoin Flower Earrings by contemporary jewelry artist Mia Hebib pay tribute to the temple’s serene majesty. Mia was especially captivated by the stylized clouds beneath the celestial figures, translating their fluid forms into wearable art. Meticulously handcrafted from brass and finished with radiant 14 karat nickel-free gold plating, the artistic earrings encapsulate a blend of cultural heritage and modern aesthetics. Measuring approximately 1.0” in diameter, the hand formed earrings feature a delicate floral element rising just under 0.5”.
Due to the handcrafted nature of these earrings, slight variations may occur, enhancing their individuality.
