Nancy Linkin’s contemporary jewelry is inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her Maine studio. Her Closed Vine Cuff, which is 0.63” wide at its widest point and has a 1.0” opening, is handmade from Sterling Silver and 18 Karat Gold Bi-metal. To create her modern jewelry, Nancy uses the anticlastic raising technique. Flat patterns are cut from sheets of gold and silver and hammered systematically over specialized tools. The final form is filed, sanded, and buffed to a high polish. The fine finish accentuates the sculptural lines of her modern art jewelry. This design came from Nancys love for tendrils, and vine forms found in nature. All cuffs have a standard 6.5” inside circumference unless another size is requested. Please see our blog post to determine your size.
