Nancy Linkin’s fascination with natural forms began in childhood, as did her attraction to non-ferrous metals and metalsmithing. Inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her Maine studio, she creates her contemporary designs by using the anticlastic raising technique. Her Curling Earrings are handmade from Sterling Silver and 18 Karat Yellow gold Bimetal and are 1.3” long.
(Nancy Linkin passed away after a long fight with breast cancer in June 2019. In accordance with her wishes, Luke Sunde, her longtime friend and employee, and Liz Allen are continuing to produce her designs so that others may be inspired by the natural forms and fluid grace of her sculptural jewelry.)
