How are your artists selected?
Artists are selected based on their accomplishments and quality of work. We welcome new artists with a promising future or established artists with a significant body of work. Our goal is to provide the customer with a broad selection of artistic contemporary jewelry of the highest quality, Most of our artists are located in the United States, but recently we began accepting international artists. If you would like to submit your work for consideration in our gallery, please email us your biography and 6-8 images of your work, including descriptions and prices.
How long does it take to fill an order?
If an item is in stock it usually will ship within 3-5 business days. If an item is not in stock and has to be made, delivery times will vary depending on the time to make the piece, availability of materials, and the artist's schedule. The availability date is NOT a promise to ship by that date. It is an estimate based on the artist’s experience. The customer will receive an email when the item ships. Please be aware that no two items will look exactly alike because of the handcrafted nature of the work. Gemstones may be a slightly different color, size or shape, which may require a slight alteration to the design, but the fundamental design will remain the same.
When are you charged for an order?
You will be charged the full amount when you place an order, even if the item is not immediately available.
Where do I enter a promotion code?
Click on coupon/gift certificate just above the payment button during checkout and enter the promotion code, or enter it at the bottom of the shopping cart under Coupon Code. The price should be adjusted immediately.
Do you offer a layaway or buy now, pay later plan?
Not presently.
Why are so many items not immediately available?
All of our contemporary jewelry is handcrafted by the artist one at a time in their studio. Because our jewelry is not mass produced it is unusual for an artist to keep a large inventory. Unless otherwise indicated, most items can be made more than once; but please be aware that no two items will look exactly alike because of the handcrafted nature of the work. Gemstones may be a slightly different color, size or shape, and different techniques may result in a slightly different color and/or texture, but the fundamental design will remain the same.
Why are items shipped to New York State taxed?
Artners Gallery is located in New York State. According to state and federal tax rules, we are required to charge sales tax on any item shipped to a New York State address.
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept PayPal because of security issues.
What are your shipping and return policies?

When will I receive my refund?
We process a customer’s refund as soon as the artist receives the returned item and confirms that it is in its original condition. The full purchase price of the item will be refunded (less shipping costs). If the artist determines that the item was damaged in any way an additional 50% fee will apply.
Do you accept custom orders?
Many artists are willing to customize a piece or design something special just for you. If you are interested in custom designed jewelry please contact us. Due to the individuality of such pieces, ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL!
Will your artists personalize an item or resize a piece so it fits properly?
Most of our artists are happy to personalize a piece for you. Changing the color of a stone, adding a new chain, or altering the design slightly can often be done without too much difficulty. In addition, most artists are willing to resize a ring, change the length of a chain, or adjust a post so the piece fits properly. Depending on the extent of the modifications or adjustment the price may change. Please contact us for delivery times and final pricing, including additional shipping costs that may be required. Due to the specialized nature of such requests, ALL ORDERS FOR PERSONALIZED ITEMS ARE FINAL!
Do you sell one-of-a-kind items?
Many pieces sold by Artners Gallery are one-of-a-kind items that cannot (or will not) be reproduced. If an item is one-of-a-kind it will be indicated under “other details” on the product description page. One-of-a-kind items also are listed in the drop down menu under jewelry.
Why aren't there shipping options for international artists?
International artists are responsible for shipping from their respective countries and choose the most appropriate option for a given situation. We add a fixed rate to reimburse international artists for their expenses. If a problem arises, the international artist is responsible. The customer is responsible for import taxes and custom fees to the extent applicable. Please add approximately one week for shipments from overseas.
