In the Interim, I Shall Play ONLY Notes of Love is a contemporary brooch from David LaPlantz that is hand fabricated, formed, and engraved from layered industrial painted aluminum. The unique brooch is 2” in diameter and projects out 2.25” at its widest point. David calls his brooches “cartoonos roundos” because they tell a story similar to cartoon panels in a newspaper. Each brooch begins with a sketch and is completed within two hours to keep the idea fresh and alive.
