Leaves Series

The natural beauty of nature is the setting for Liaung Chung Yen’s Leaves Series. The sprout of leaves in spring, the various greens in summer and the movement of falling leaves in autumn are his inspiration. The leaf element is created from two separate domed marquise shapes soldered together. When light reflects on the concave shapes the richness of the metal color is enhanced by the three-dimensional quality of the leaves.
