Keiko Mita discovered metal craft while studying fine arts in Japan. Initially she produced large, embossed works, but eventually she turned her attention to sculpture, objects of art, and ultimately jewelry. Her artistic Moire Collection – Moire is the pattern that occurs naturally between interfacing grids -- explores positive and negative space and the designs created by simple clean lines and overlapping patterns.
