Keiko Mita is inspired by the beautiful landscapes and crystal blue seas of the tiny northernmost island of Japan where she was born. Her artistic Tear Drop Pendant, which is 32 mm long and 12.5 mm wide, is handmade from 14 Karat Yellow Gold and Oxidized Sterling Silver. Diamonds (0.05 Carats total weight) placed in the center of the tear drop and at the very top add a hint of sparkle. The modern pendant from her Moire Collection is presented on a single strand 14 Karat Gold Cable Chain that is 18” long with a 16”stop. Moiré is the pattern that occurs naturally between interfacing grids. This modern jewelry collection explores positive and negative space and the designs created by simple clean lines and overlapping patterns.
