Aleksandra Vali recently added new art jewelry to our gallery. Her Temptation Pendant in sterling silver and oxidized sterling silver (left) and her adjustable Infinity Ring with a fresh water pearl in sterling silver (below right) are excellent examples of her work. Aleksandra was a celebrated ceramic artist in Russia, but when she immigrated to the U.S. she was introduced to metal, which became her passion. Aleksandra’s favorite techniques are carving, casting, riveting, oxidizing, etching, and metalsmithing. The variety of techniques allows her to combine silver and gold with different materials, such as coral, pearls, textile, and lava, creating an endless source of inspiration and enjoyment. Aleksandra has appeared in many publications and was a Niche Award winner in 2012 and 2013.
